By the side of the Kotte Road, just beyond Angampitiya Road is the E. W. Perera Archeological Museum - Kotte. This is sighted at the former home of the legendary freedom fighter E. W. Perera, known as the 'Ihala Walauwa’.

The museum is the home to a collection of artifacts relating to Kotte, and other exhibits found in and around Kotte. It is in a very dormant state. The exhibits include, coins, flags, swords, chinaware and clothes of the Kotte period.
